Abbot House is a pre-school nursery linked to the Church but has its own management arrangements. It is situated in Faversham Road alongside the Christian Centre. Currently open for five mornings a week, Abbot House has had a number of very successful Ofsted inspections.
Rainbows is the youngest section of the Guide Association (for girls aged 5 and 6) and meets in the Christian Centre from 4.00pm to 5.15 pm on Thursday evenings. Activities vary from cooking or craft to parachute games or dancing. Craft has been extremely popular and has included everything from glass painting to clay to jewellery making to Hawaiian grass skirts and flower garlands to wind chimes. Christmas is celebrated with a nativity play for parents and friends plus a fabulous Christmas party.
All the Rainbow and Brownie packs in Whitstable have waiting lists and if you think your daughter may be interested it is best to put their names down on a list as soon as possible.
For under 5's and their families or carers. Join us for a short Bible story, song and activity with cake and a drink afterwards.
The group meets at the Christian Centre on a fortnightly basis, Mondays 1.45 - 2.30 pm.
