Mission

The Anglican Consultative Council has identified five 'Marks of Mission', which should characterise every 'church'.

  1. To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom.
  2. To teach, baptise and nurture new believers.
  3. To respond to human need by loving service.
  4. To seek to transform the unjust structures of society.
  5. To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth.

On this website you will find St Alphege, Seasalter's response to each of these 'Marks of Mission'; through outreach, youth groups, Alpha and our support of Fairtrade. By leading lives that follow the Mission we can come to know God and His love for all of us and begin to understand His purpose for us.
